At SSVP Conference of the Assumption, PJ, we are dedicated to uplift the lives of the less fortunate. We focus on providing essential support to families and individuals from the B40 group, whom we fondly refer as 'Friends In Need' (FINs).

OZANAM EDUCATION CENTRE

Another impactful project of ours is the Ozanam Education Centre (Educentre), located at Taman Seri Sentosa, Kuala Lumpur and managed by our Conference. It was established in 2002 to provide affordable pre-school education to children aged from 4 to 6years old from marginalised, single parents, lower income families and from foreign workers currently domiciled in

Malaysia. Many of these children do not have the privilege of a quality education.

We strongly believe that education is the way out of the cycle of poverty.

OZANAM SERVICE CENTRE

Jointly managed with 2 other PJ Conferences. The centre assists the needy in sorting out their documentation such as MyKads, birth certificates, welfare application, job placements and children’s home placement as well.

Empowerment programs are also organised to help the FINs acquire skills for a better job opportunity.
